Travel Ban Countries

(Not Permitted for entry or with restrictions)

1) Hong Kong
⦁ Starting from 08 Feb. all travellers arriving in Hong Kong from mainland China, including Hong Kong residents, will be quarantined for 14 days.
⦁ Major land crossings between mainland China & Hong Kong have been closed from 04 Feb until further notice.
⦁ Hubei / Wuhan Passport or ID holder, or anyone who has visited Hubei / Wuhan are not permit to entry Hong Kong.
⦁ In Hong Kong as of now no American carrier will fly to HK, let alone China.  Hong Kong has kept the airport, Zhuhui bridge and Shenzhen bay crossings open and imposing increased checks and restrictions on cross border delivery vehicles.  The cruise liner terminals in Hong Kong are now also closed.

2) China
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport or PRCID card listing Hubei / Wuhan as their address will not be allowed to travel by air or train.
⦁ Most flights (over 50%) now cancelled in & out of China until further notice

3) Taiwan
•  Anyone who has visited or resided in mainland China, Hong Kong or Macua over the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.

4) Bangladesh
•  Anyone travelling on a PRC, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR or Taiwan passport will not be allowed to enter the country.

5) India
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ All travellers from China, including Indian citizens, will be quarantined in hospital for at least 14 days from arrival into India.

6) Indonesia
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport will not be eligible for a visa on arrival nor enter the country.
⦁ Any traveller who has visited China in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.

7) Korea
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport that lists Hubei province as the place of issue will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ Anyone travelling on any type of visa issued by the Korean Consulate in Wuhan will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ Anyone travelling that has visited Hubei province in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.

8) Japan, Malaysia, Thailand
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport that that has address in Hubei province will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ Anyone travelling that has visited Hubei province in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.

9) Singapore
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport that lists Hubei province as the place of issue will not be allowed to enter the country.  This includes passports that have Singapore short-term or multiplevisit visas.
⦁ Any traveller who has visited China in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.

10) Philippines
•  Restricted all travel or transit from China / Hong Kong / Macau.

11) Sri Lanka, Myanmar,
•  All PRC passport Holders, or any nationality who has visited China in past 14-days, will not be allowed to enter the country.

12) Vietnam
⦁ All foreign passport holders who have been in or transited mainland China in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ Anyone travelling on a PRC passport will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ Anyone travelling on any other passport with a visa on arrival approval letter, and has visited China in the past 14 days, will not be allowed to enter the country.
⦁ APEC card holders must present an invitation letter from their local business partner stating their business purpose; not leisure.

13) United States, Australia & New Zealand,
• Any foreign passport holder who has visited China in past 14 days will not be allowed entry to the country.

All passengers travelling during this period will be asked to declare their travel history over the last 14 days to ensure eligibility to travel. It is important that all passengers disclose if they have visited mainland China during this period.

Airlines
1) In Hong Kong as of now no American carrier will fly to HK or China.

– Americian Airlines has suspended all flights to and from Hong Kong until 20 Feb.

– United Airlines has suspended all flights to and from China from 4 Feb to 28 Mar.

2) KLM has suspended all flights to mainland China through mid March.

3) Air France has suspended all flights to mainland China through mid March.

4) Virgin Australia has suspended all flights between Sydney / Melbourne and Hong Kong from 2 March.

5) Other airlines are expected to announce measures as well.
