Senior Client Officer – Apparel


Job Accountabilities

  • Responsible for client management and development of business with clients. Global ‘ownership’ of the Apparel Client(s)’ performance and growth.
  • Direct and manage client(s)’ sourcing activities within Connor across multiple office locations and functions.
  • Continuously build, maintain and strengthen client relationships through flawless execution across all Connor offices worldwide.
  • In-depth knowledge of global sourcing (especially off-shore), merchandising, product development procedures & processes, and related business development.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills to resolve challenges arising from client(s)’ operating environments
  • Assist with business development activities with the GBD team including potential client identification, presentations and client meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as part of the GBD team to meet the Department and Company’s objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary education, preferably in business or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably hands-on experience in Apparel industry particularly in sourcing & purchasing background
  • UK client & Kids/baby experience will be advantage but not essential
  • Strong understanding of apparel product and experience building and costing product offer suitable to Client’s needs.
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with Clients and associates.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experienced with problem resolution.
  • Possess strong strategic thinking in the Apparel business
  • Proactive, sensible, deadline conscious, adaptive, responsible, well-organized and attention to details result and quality oriented, deadline conscious
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
  • Occasional travel is required.
